Taiyuan University of Technology is located in Taiyuan, a historical and cultural city with a history of over 2500 years. Its predecessor was one of the three earliest universities in China, the Western Learning House of Imperial University of Shanxi, founded in 1902. In 1997 and 2017, the university was included in the "211 Project" and selected as a national "Double First Class" key construction university respectively.
TYUT is a university of engineering, science, and multiple disciplines. It has 26 colleges and one Sino-foreign cooperative education college (planned), covering 9 categories in science, engineering, economics, law, education, literature, management, art, and history. The four campuses (Mingxiang, Yingxi, Huyu, and Bailin) cover an area of 2.13 million square meters, with a total construction area of 1.69 million square meters of school buildings.

2) Qualification review
The teaching and research sections will conduct preliminary qualification review, material verification, and psychological evaluation on the applicants. The applicant who meet the requirements will receive a phone call for further qualification review and interview time and place.
3) Interview and assessment
Each teaching and research section will organizes experts to assess the candidates who pass the qualification review on their professional, ideological and political qualities, including their political ideology, moral qualities, compliance with laws and regulations, physical and mental health, research ability, academic attitude, work performance, etc.
4) physical examination
Applicants are required to undergo a physical examination at Taiyuan University of Technology or a tertiary hospital at their own expense. The physical examination shall be carried out in accordance with the “Shanxi teaching position application physical examination standard and method (revised)”. Those who fail the physical examination should have re-examination in a different hospital with the consent of the university. The hospital responsible for the re-examination shall organize experts for consultation and make the final conclusion when the school, applicants, and family members have doubts on the results. Those who fail the re-examination will be rejected, and the vacant positions will not be filled. For those who are unable to complete all examination items due to pregnancy, we will follow the relevant national policies. Those who fail to present the physical examination on time will be deemed to have forfeited their eligibility.
5) Publicity and onboarding process
After approved by the university, the proposed personnel will be published on the TYUT official website for 7 working days. If no objection, onboarding procedures can start.
If a applicant is found to have violation in laws and regulations, incomplete materials, late submission of materials, or provided false information during the process of onboarding procedures, they will be rejected.
